Why Hire a live musician? Can’t we just play a recording?

This is the most common argument I hear when someone is unsure whether or not to hire a professional musician. What I always respond is,” Would you ever put up a recording of someone leading a prayer or a toast? I can help lead you and your guests in praise and worship at your church service. I skillfully take cues and can make the service more graceful.

I have over ten years of experience as a choir director and cantor within in the Catholic Church. In my experience, I have learned to be humble and abide by standards that are set in place by the pastor or the couple. I will sing for any Christian denomination and for non-religious ceremonies as well.

I can sing in English, Spanish, Italian, Latin, and German. I sing traditional hymns, modern hymns, new worship music and popular music.

I can also perform jazz or other kinds of contemporary music at your cocktail hour or for your first dance.
